The Apple DVD player app has been buggy lately. I have not installed a new version, nor any other hardware. It is a 12" 1 ghz 768 ram machine.

When I go full screen on my second monitor the picture cuts in and out. It will go black for a few seconds, but the audio never stops. I ran Onyx to repair permissions and the problem is still there.

The same DVD works fine in VLC and i tried different disc. It seems like it is only in full screen mode. This worked fine before.

Anybody else have this problem before?

Thanks

John

Mine's been fine but maybe try removing the DVD player preferences from the folder within which you find them. They're called com.apple.DVDPlayer.plist and removing them from the Preferences folder will revert all your preferences (settings) to their original state. Do this while DVD Player is closed. If it doesn't help, you can get your settings back by replacing the newly created file by the same name in your Preferences folder with this old one, once again while DVD Player is closed. Otherwise, you can safely delete the old preference file. :)
