iPod dvd,s to nano ipods.

just bought my first nano ipod (4gb),have managed to install my music on,but unsure how transfers a dvd to ipod,would appreciate any help or tips.

Are you using a Mac or Windows PC?

If you're using OS X, Handbrake is your friend.

Just make sure that if you are looking to pull the movies off a DVD that you use another program to rip the DVD to your HDD before you use Handbrake to encode it. Encoding directly from the DVD takes a lot longer and it really pegs your optical drive.

I use MacTheRipper to rip my DVDs and then Handbrake to encode them for iTunes and my iPod classic and nano. Works fairly well.
