Going on Vacation and want to have my Movies on USB’s. I own the DVD’s and have NO plans on sharing them so these will be for MY use ONLY. Looking for suggestions for program that will copy the DVD to the USB in MP4 format. I will consider a paied program.

Thanks KenK

I tried HandBrake and it doesn’t work on Copy Protected DVD’s. I have been looking and there are a lot of “Free Download” programs. That usually mean they are only able to do a short 5 min. Copy, then want $$$ for the full version or full of Add Ware. Just want a Good program that works and if a fee is required then reasonable.

Handbrake will work with most DVDs if you install Libdvdcss: https://www.videolan.org/developers/libdvdcss.html

Handbrake will tell you it doesn’t support copyrighted material, BUT, there’s a button that says something like “convert anyway?”. Press that, sometimes that works.
