I have installed windows 7 on a bootcamp partition. everything is working perfectly except my dvd rom. It will load and run dvds no problem but the windows 7 eject command will not work.

I can get the disk to eject perfectly fine in OSX, just not windows. For some reason windows 7 just refuses to eject my disks. If I hop into osx, all is fine and disk pops right out again.

anyone know what might be the problem.

I'd like to know if theres a solution to this too. I installed the Boot Camp drivers and for several weeks everything worked flawlessly. Now my superdrive refuses to load or eject under Windows 7. If I put a disc in while Im using OS X, boot into Windows 7, and press eject nothing happens. If I open Windows Explorer and try and eject that way, I just get an error message. Uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers, still happens.

I just did this just now too! You have to insert your mac os cd and install bootcamp. From there Bootcamp will install all the necessary drivers you need for your windows.

Doesnt help me in the slightest, I already had the drivers installed and also reinstalled them to no success. Cant speak for the OP, though.
