Does anybody know if I can run both of these video options at the same time?
As in, if I plug in the VGA to a monitor and the DVI to my TV, will they both get the signal? [mac mini]

Correct, the Mac mini only has one video out.

The best you could do is get a video duplicator that mirrors the same video on two screens. But they'd both have to be VGA connections, because I've never seen one that does DVI.

A second option, if you want to use two same-connection-type computer monitors would be a Matrox Dual Head 2 Go, which turns takes one output and sends the signal to two monitors; but your computer thinks that the two displays are one really wide display, so you don't have the choice of mirroring them, running them at different resolutions, or even having them in any arrangement OTHER than side-by-side.

I have a similar question...I just bought a 1.83ghz mac mini core 2 duo a few days ago. I was wondering if I could have it hooked up to a Dell Trinitron Ultra Scan P780. I'm planning on buying a Dell 2408 WFP 24-inch monitor. My brother will be using the Dell CRT whenever he plays counter-strike, and will boot into windows, and I myself would like to use the 24 inch whenever I am in Leopard. Any good options besides hooking and unhooking different monitors at the same time?

If this is too complicated, I may just make him stick to using the Dell CRT with his macbook whenever he wants to play counter-strike (again in windows mode)(I just recently bought the Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter Part Number: MB572Z/A)
