I have a DVI display connected, a while ago I was using 2 displays (DVI and VGA), when both were connected, the DVI deactivated randomly and only the VGA worked (which was a smaller one - DVI = 32" - VGS = 19") So I decided to get rid of the VGA display and only use the DVI. Now the DVI still deactivates randomly and I have to use the VGA port on the same display to work. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

These displays were connected to which computer? 2012 i7? 2014 i5?

Which system software version are you running?

Can we assume that your original setup had the 32" DVI display connected to the HDMI port on your 2012 mini with the included HDMI to DVI adapter? That would leave the TB/Mini DisplayPort open for an adapter or special cable that attached to your 19" VGA display. Now without the VGA monitor, your TB/MDP is open and available. Correct?

That's right and the MDP is available, but, as I stated, the DVI connection disables randomly and I have to use the MDP with the VGA cable for the 32" monitor, the same that I use with the DVI connection. This is happening since I used the 19" monitor as a second display

This problem does not appear to be related to the 19" monitor or VGA for that matter. Connect your DVI interface on your remaining display to the MDP on your mini and that should further isolate/identify your problem.

Thanks, I don't have HDMI > MDP adapter, so when I get one I'll get back to this post
