Hi guys,

I have currently got the tv hooked up to the macbook we have while we wait on our mac mini to arrive, the macbook is connected vie an HDMI into the computer, The DVI at the other end is then connected into a Apple DVI to Mini DVI Convertor

The TV is a Sony LCD, we have selected the HDMI option.

When the macbooks resolution is set to run at 1280 by 720 the bottom of the screen is cut off as discussed in my other post "New Mac Mini". The top menu bar is also cut off. There is also alot of jumping in the lower third of the screen. The screen in this setting is running at 50hz in PAL.

When running the screen at 1920x 1080i there is more jumping withing the screen than at 720.However all the screen is shown. This however leaves a black border round all the projection of the mac screen of approximately a tenth.

CAn you guys enlighten me on how to get this showing 1080 natively with no jumping and filling the screen? Hope you guys can help?
