I'm recently considering buying a Mac computer since my normal laptop screen broke and its pretty much impossible to fix being 6 years old. I have a few major concerns though:

  1. Dvorak Keyboard -> I use the dvorak keyboard and have no intention on having to switch back to QWERTY, I know you can emulate via software (which is how my current laptop is running ), but how hard is it to rearrange the keys to dvorak ( since they oddly enough dont seem to sell dvorak )? Since I would be buying a new one, I might as well have a good keyboard I'm used to.
  2. Linux -> Recently with all the intel mac stuff its hard to find real up-to-date information on how well linux is running on the intel macs. I'm guessing it's fine, but if it can save me extra time configuring I'd be happy. On my PC computers I only run Linux, but since it's a mac I might want to dual-boot ( my first computer was the first powerpc, thus mac has sentimental value mainly ).
  3. GMA -> How well does the graphics card work? Being an Intel I know it will be well supported by linux, but also being an intel I'm afraid it might be alot weaker, and I need to do alot of fancy 2d ( hdtv resolutions ) and quite a bit of 3d Blender modeling. It seems like the chipset they send out now is just a rebuffed 945, and it seems like the 965 is ALOT better, although from what I've been reading, I think it is desktop only for now. Should I wait? Or is it good enough?

Hopefully these will be new questions, haven't read too much on the forum but it doesn't seem like these are the utopical mac questions ('cept maybe the GMA one).
