Has anyone addressed how the Dynamic Island will look given the 15 and 15 Plus don't have ProMotion? I remember last year it was said that ProMotion played a big part on how fluid it was on the Pros. Just curious about it.

It will look kinda choppy like all the other animations on the non pro phones. As long as you’re not used to promotion it should make much difference.

I think Dave2D commented on it in his review. It seems that it's a non-issue because most 'normal' people won't notice it. Techies and those who appreciate ProMotion will.

My wife literally can't see any difference between her 60Hz iPhone 14 and my 120Hz iPhone 13 Pro. And yet, I can't see anything other than choppy animations and crunchy scrolling when I use hers!

Looks really fluid to me on my 15. But put me in the camp of people that's never had a 120hz display phone so I don't really care one way or another.

Turn volume up or down and you see an animation also on non DI devices. It’s up to you if you find it fluid or not.

Bet y'all wont notice it unless y'all nit pick it.
I really tried to be fine with it but no, the difference is immediately noticeable. Just like with every other animation throughout iOS.

Is it a dealbreaker for most people? Probably not. But it's still a striking difference when you're used to ProMotion.
