Very gimmicky.
I’m also shocked at how low key the iPhone presentation is now, considering its their flagship product by far.

I haven’t even used it yet and it already has more function than the Touch Bar for me.

Each to their own, all about the end user's daily usage. My touchbar is extremely handy when it comes to skipping youtube ads...

It looks very innovative to me and fully featured for a touch screen OS. Whereas the Touch Bar was very limited in functionality.

Devs will be compelled to take advantage of it.
