I have installed the iPhone 3.1 software to my iPhone 3G. Since then, I notice two things that could be bugs:
(1) Sometimes, I hear the alert of a new email, but there is no badge on my email icon. I have to open the mail and then select "Load messages" in order for it to appear.
(2) I awakened my iPhone outdoors in bright sunlight. The display's brightness wasn't adjusted-----it looked as if I was still indoors and was extremely hard to see. I had to lock the phone and unlock a few times for it to properly adjust.
Has anyone else had the aforementioned issues since the 3.1 update? I have never jailbroken my phone. Thanks in advance.
