Sorry if this has been discussed, I searched for about 20 minutes.

I own a few small businesses and exclusively use Apple products.

I have a MBP which I use Mail as my e-mail client. I have 5 addresses that I use all the time set up through Google apps but flowing to Mail.

I also use my iPhone for all of these addresses via Mobile Me. But when I log into Mobile ME I don't see any of my messages, and I don't want to but I figured I'd throw that in.

I want to add an iPad to my tool belt.

My questions is how difficult will it be to add iPad to the mix concerning Mail? I want my MBP's Mail to be the Master and to always have all messages in there even if I open on iPad.

How jumbled can/will my e-mail become?

Thanks,

The iPad mail does not remove the mail from the server. When I check my mail on my laptop (removes from server) all messages are shown as unread. So you should not have any problems.

However, if I check my e-mail on the laptop first, it won't show up on the iPad. But that is not a problem for me.

I am doing what you want to do and it should be enabled by default. Have you changed any setting for mail? For Mobile me it sits on the server but for any other account you are probably downloading it and have a setting to remove it from server after it has download. (That is how I do it for my none mobile addresses)

Sharing just fine between imac, iphone and ipad for my mobile me account. However once you delete a message on one machine it is gone.
