When I get a new e-mail, it'll appear on my inbox for about a second then quickly disappear, when I click the refresh button it will download again and stay on the list.

In previous versions, this happened on rare occasions, but after upgrading to 3.1 it seems to be happening all the time.

Anyone else getting this?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7C144 Safari/528.16)

I have been since the betas. It gets annoying when I see it happen. I am sure it happens in the background as well.

My GMail IMAP account did this occasionally in 3.0 too (have not seen it yet on 3.1) - but it was usually a mis-routed SPAM or JUNK email - or an email GMail thought was one of these.

It wasen't, I was having a conversation with my friend like I do everyday, and after refreshing again it came up fine, and no messages from her have ever come up as spam before.

I think this may be the reason :D

i had the same problem and i manually close the program by holding the on off button then home button and that seems to fix the problem

Force quitting the Mail app and rebooting didn't work, but I set up a new account (not because of this issue, but because my old address was outdated) and that seems fine, so I guess a file in the old account got corrupted or something!

Looks like I spoke too soon, the problem is back again now, plus I've noticed that despite the fact I've set it to check for e-mail every 15 mins, it just dosen't.

FIX THIS APPLE!
