E-mailing files

Hi,

I'm looking for the best file app out there. It seems the choice is between Air Sharing, Files or Briefcase.

I'm looking for these options (if possible):
Video Viewing
Text Editing
E-mailing files
USB transferring

Is there anything out there that does this?

fyi ... you will not find an iPhone app that supports USB transfer, this is against Apple's guidelines ... there is a client hosted software (you download it to your computer) called DiskAid that is really good and basically allows you to transfer from iPhone to PC/Mac via usb hub.

FWIW - love Air Sharing ... stable, easy to use and easy to setup ... but be forewarned, all these types of apps, you will need a wifi connection to transfer files.

You are now running into the iPhones wall of functionality. You should be able to do all these things, except for the USB idea. Air Sharing will not be able to do this for you as it cannot e-mail, nor does it edit files. It's basically a one-trick pony and I don't know why everyone gushes over it around here.

Try iStorage. You will be able to download files, edit them (as txt files), and then e-mail them to anyone you want. I am unsure about the video capabilities as Apple has strict rules about what types of video formats you can use on the iPhone. Good luck.

Once a document is on the iphone in air sharing, there isn't a way to e-mail though, is there?

Edit: Nevermind - kas23 has an answer. But can this solution get a file e-mailed to the iphone, transferred to the mac, and then transferred back, and then e-mailed from the iphone?

@kas23 Right ... I was talking about DiskAid and how it does have the abilityto transfer via the usb ... but it's software you host on your computer.
