Does anyone know if ear buds are under the warranty of the iphone 3gs?? My right bud stopped playing music (although the clicker still works), but i wanted to not have to pay $30 For a new pair!!

Also, is there a way that apple will send me them and exchange without having to drive to the apple store...? The nearest store is two hours away!!

Thanks for your help. :apple:

Yes, anything that came in the box with any Apple product (iPhone, iPod, Mac) is covered under the warranty. You don't need to go to an Apple Store, just call AppleCare (in the U.S.) 1-800-275-2273. They'll mail you replacements.

Does this "warrantee" still apply for me? I bought my iPhone 3GS(as stated in my sig) at Best Buy, so I have Best Buy warrantee. Will I still be able to call Apple if my iPhone's headphones stop working also?

Any iPhone 3GS is still covered under Applecare, because it comes with one year of warranty.

Just a word of advice: I had to replace my earbuds on my 3GS for the same problem, right one quit working. When you call Applecare (do it during the workday, there's no wait time), make sure to specify that you have the iPhone 3GS headphones WITH REMOTE. They accidentally sent me the ones for the original iPhone without the remote first. No biggie, because they replaced those with the correct ones, but it took me an extra phone call and an extra day. They'll overnight them, so you should get them the next day. It's a pretty simple deal, and gave me even more faith in Apple than what I already had.
