Hi I want to patch my mac to run Catalina and found a program by dosdude, however I have an anti/radeon 5770 which supposedly
is incompatible. Does anyone have any video card recommendations that might work?

There is a whole thread on GPU recommendations... But in short, the GTX680 is usually the recommendation for a 3,1 - and bonus, you can flash it too to get a boot screen. If you can't find one for a good price, other Nvidia Kepler cards are good choices though you won't get a boot screen, such as the GTX760/770/780.

If you don't need a boot screen, a Quadro K600 (Nvidia Kepler) is very cheap and will also do 4K at 60 Hz.
