Hi everyone,

My 'problem' is not much of a problem, but it rather is a question. My 2008 20" iMac 8,1 is running Lion, and 'About This Mac' says it's an 'Early 2008' iMac. However, if I enter my serial number into various internet databases, it shows that my iMac was produced in September 2008, which is 'Late 2008'.

Does anybody have a clue about what's wrong here?
Thanks in advance!

The model was introduced in April, 2008, so it's an Early 2008 model. It doesn't matter when your particular Mac was built, but rather when that model was introduced.
