At the moment I am running 4gb in my Mini. At the time I installed it they said it was the maximum I could run. Now looking at the forums I notice a few are running up to 8gb with the firmware update. What I would like to know is the Mini running any faster?? Does the added memory doubling to 8gb really help out?

THANKS

your page outs are under 1 % your swaps are under 10 %. page outs and swaps are what slow your computer down. as it runs to of room in ram and goes to a slow hdd. ram is cheap so buying some would be okay in your case. if you had 100mb page outs and 200mb swap per 880mb page in i would say you really need it.
