Hello from Spain, excuse my english if I make any mistake. I´ve just got an early 2011 mbp, 15´. I took it with some missing parts but now machine has; good working condition display and ac adapter, unknown working condition mobo and original battery, ssd and 4gb ram stick (non original but in good working condition). As I expected the whole set in not working properly. I´m trying some tests and almost get stuck.

What did I get so far? Machine boots but never gets to the OS itself. It does when booting in safe mode. When re-booting, even in safe mode, settings are missed, date and time, for example. First thing i try was resetting SMC and PRAM, but no better behaviour. Battery either is not recognized or not working, charge level indicators, in the left side, blink 5 times, and ac adapter status led never turns orange.
I´ve read a lot of information about the gpu common issue of these machine, but when booting in safe mode, no graphic distortion occurs, even installed DosDude1 gpu patch to change from Radeon to intel, and no difference. I´m getting kinda disappointed as I expected the problem was the usual Gpu issue but i guess something else is happening, so I´m begging some clue or advice. Thanks so much
