Curious to find out what price I could get for my MBP. I have made plenty of upgrades which I will list below:

Model Name: MacBook Pro

Model Identifier: MacBookPro8,2

Processor Name: Intel Core i7

Processor Speed: 2 GHz

Number of Processors: 1

Total Number of Cores: 4

L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB

L3 Cache: 6 MB

Memory: 16 GB

Boot ROM Version: MBP81.004D.B00

SMC Version (system): 1.69f4

Serial Number (system): C02F43V2DF8V

Hardware UUID: 4E15DD0B-34F5-51F7-9FCA-617A89493A20

Sudden Motion Sensor:

State: Enabled

Physical Drive:

Device Name: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB

Media Name: AppleAPFSMedia

Medium Type: SSD

Protocol: SATA

Internal: Yes

Partition Map Type: Unknown

So, what do you guys think? 16gb RAM and 500gb SSD and brand new battery (4 hours runtime) could bump up the price?

Probably $400-450, going off of eBay "sold" listings.

There are a couple of challenges. First, the graphics card on it is weak - the 6490 was a relatively low-end GPU even in its day, and we're long past that day. Second, it's 6 years old, and is much more likely to fail and be unrepairable (Apple is expected to shortly declare the Early 2011 models obsolete.

While the upgrades you've made are good ones, they don't offset the challenges.
