Early 2014 MacBook Air SSD in late 2013 21.5" iMac?

I pulled the SSD from a damaged early 2014 macbook air and put it in another air to confirm it works. I have a late 2013 21.5" iMac that has the pcie ssd slot but it's not used. I'd like to put the ssd in the iMac and create a fusion drive. I have to tools to do it and am willing but want to make sure the ssd is compatible. The model for the SSD is a Toshiba THNSN2128GSPS. Thanks!
