Early 2015 A1502 MBP i7 3.1 GHz vs i5 2.9 GHz logic board performance differences?

Greetings and Happy Holidays to all

I was just curious to know if in reality there is a considerable difference in speed / performance between the A1502 i7 3.1 Ghz and i5 2.9 GHz logic boards?

Would the i7 logic board be a direct plug and play installation for an early 2015 MBP with the i5 logic board?

I guess u will fimd the performance on geekbench. But i guess it will not be more tham 10% diff.

If by plug and play u mean to dissassemble the whole computer and risk damage yes it should fit in…
