iOS earphones' button

I'm currently working on an iphone app which involves some music features, and I would like to enable taking some actions using the iphone earphones' button.
Is it possible to track and handle the event of the earphones' click?

1) Don't bump your threads. It's both exceptionally rude and explicitly against the forums rules

2) I don't know for sure, but if you can't be bothered to search in the documentation I certainly am not going to. If I had to take a guess i'd say that there is no way to do it with the official SDK
