If you don't mind a slightly clunky solution, you can use the Monster iSoniTalk to add a mic to a set of headphones: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/monster-isonitalk-hands-free-microphone-for-iphone/ $15 at Best Buy and you can plug in any set of headphones that would have otherwise worked with the iPod. I've got one and I love it. It apparently sounds better than the more expensive solutions from Griffin and Shure, too.
