Hello all! I’m new to Macrumors!! Anywho.. I’ve been doing a lot of research on how to “customize” my Apple EarPods cause they just do not fit in my years and they’re always falling out! And it gets so darn irritating especially when I’m at work!! So, I’ve come across a lot of different tricks and hacks on how to make them fit bitter, but I’ve yet to see anything on the inter webs about doing a hack like the one I thought of!! So, I took out all the extra rubber ear tips that came with my Beats X headphones, and i took the biggest ones I could find. And with the help of a little exacto knife. BAM!!!! I’ll post pictures to show you all what I did, how I did it, and the end result!!! Which I can tell you that this hack is life changing!!!!! All comments and feedback is appreciated!! If anyone else does this, let me know how it works for you!!! Thanks all!!!

Haha yes. But why not try something that’s technically free and you can do at home without having to go to the store or wait for shipping??

That is interesting. The EarPods hurt my ears and also fall out when I sweat which is a lot since I live in Georgia. You could market that here :)

Mine have been falling out for years too, and I just found an incredibly simple solution that actually works for my ears..hopefully it will work for some other people as well: I switched my earpods around! I put my left pod in my right ear, and my right pod in my left ear and waited for the Apple police to kick in my door. Well, that didn't happen, but miraculously, gloriously, MY EARPODS FINALLY FIT LIKE THEY SHOULD AND STOPPED SLIPPING OUT!! For me this is nearly a miraculous solution to an issue that's plagued me for as long as I've had freaky inverted ears and an iPhone. To make sure everything worked right, I called my wife's phone to see if the little mike and stuff worked in hands free telephone mode, and they worked perfectly. They sound fine too. So if there's anyone out there with freaky inverted ears like mine, maybe this will help you too!
