Search YouTube for Dolby vision or 4K HDR 60. This screen is noticeably popping compared to my 2018.

I seriously don’t know how people manage to actually enjoy content on that tiny screen for extended period. I hardly even watch YouTube videos on my phone.

That show/ep looks fantastic on my OLED TV :)

Oh yeah got myself a new 65” LG last month. It’s freaking awesome with Dolby Atmos supported sound system. My living room feels new.

Are you referring to the 12.9 inch iPad Pro as a ”tiny screen”?

Yes. There is a reason cinema halls exist. 12.9 is tiny for an immersive experience. If by some chance he is not referring to 12.9 as tiny, then I am referring to it as tiny.

Let's call things for what they are. The best Harley is not going to take 4 people from point A to point B in an air-conditioned environment with butt-warmer seats and surround sound audio along with a trunk to hold luggage and picnic baskets like a sedan would.

Depends on how far you are from the screen. Yes, a few feet away a 55" screen is going to be far better than a 12.9" screen. A few inches away, however, the 12.9" screen will be just as immersive. Possibly even more so if it has a better screen.

What service has this show?
I Googled it: it's an Apple TV+ show.

LOL exactly… I get that there are BIGGER screens out there but this is the iPad forum on Macrumors so 12.9 inch is actually the BIGGEST/MOST IMMERSIVE option? 😂

How are you going to watch 2 hr movies while holding ipad? I can see if you’re in a coffee shop on a desk or in a car watching sitcom but I don’t see myself holding 12.9 iPad for long period.

Are we going to end up in some kind of variation on the Father Ted style “small…far away…” perspective confusion?

(Apologies if that reference doesn’t land).

I use the Magic Keyboard, which props it up. Or in bed I have the tablet sitting on my chest and my hand is just keeping it propped up.

I wouldn’t be actually holding it for that long, a smart folio style case or MK allows for it to just sit on your lap or body if laying down.

I like to prop it on my knee or hold it in both hands with my elbows resting on the arms of my chair. I rarely just hold it without some kind of support.
