I love the application, EarthDesk, on the Mac. It reminds me how fragile this entire planet is. In the Preferences I have it updating often, since I have the RAM to spare to allow this. The sun/moon positions are updated every minute and the clouds every three hours. Absolutely beautiful!

 
I had a program like that called EarthX or something like that, really good, showed storms and things, good way to waste productivity

Which program is better though? Earthdesk or OSXplanet? Earthdesk looks stunning...wasn't too impressed by osxplanet..
 
What do you have your settings on? Yours looks different than mine..
Here you go... Note that if you have two monitors, like I do, you can set the second monitor to view the political image (very nice IMO).

Hmm, it must be different on Leopard. Even when I set my settings to those, it looks completely different.
