Hi, I just received my iPhone plus. I bought the $769 GSM version to use it in Norway.
I just called T-Mobile to activate my iPhone so I can use it with a Norwegian carrier, they told me I need an account to get the iPhone activated. The iPhone was purchased by my dad that lives in the US from apple.com, the number on the order was tied to an old T-mobile business account. Becuase of that they told me they couldn't unlock it with that number.
So now I have a unactivated iPhone that is useless.
Do anyone know what I can do to activate and unlock my iPhone?

As I recall, if the phone was purchased for full price from Apple it should already be unlocked. You should be able to just put a SIM into it that you want to use and go from there.

Thanks a lot, you are right! There was some odd things going on first when the T-mobile sim-card was in. But now everything works. Again thanks a lot!
