easiest way to transfer one user account to another?

hey fellow macsters. my girlfriends 12" is acting weird. i can get the problem to reproduce everytime. if you minimize something to the dock, 1 out of 10 times, it will get stuck, usually halfway thru as it is doing the genie effect, but you can still move it around! just really weird. i can sign into my profile on the pb and i can never get the problem to reproduce.

i am thinking her profile is screwed up. i am thinking i could create a new profile and let her use that one. my question is what is the easiest way to copy all of her documents, music, calendar, and etc. to the new profile?

The easiest might just be to move all the stuff out of her (old) home folder, prehaps /Documents (i.e. the Documents folder directly on the root of your HD) and then log into the new account and move it into her (new) home folder.

Good idea. You could also back the files up into an external drive or copy the items to your users 'Drop Box'. Anything in the Drop Box is available to all users. OR, you could place the files in the 'Shared' directory found in the users folder.
