Other Easiest Way To Transfer Photos From Old Phone To New?

Whats the easiest way to transfer old pictures to your new device when setting it up as new?

I don’t want to restore from a backup, so I’m a little confused on how to do this properly.

I use Google Photos. It's kind of a pain in the beginning to set up, but once you get all your photos backed up it's better than stock photos.

You can also connect to your Mac/PC.
