I'm selling my 8GB 1.1.4 w/ ATT so I can sell it and upgrade to the 16GB version. Figure the unlocked one will carry more resale than an unbroken one...

As a current customer, is ziphone the easiest way to unlock it? Not looking to install any apps on my end, just want to unlock it, sell it, and get my new 16gb version..

Any help appreciated. Thanks

I'm not a fan of ziPhone but I do have to admit that it's the easiest unlocking method at the moment. Unfortunately it suffers from poor documentation, and downgrades peoples bootloaders without warning them not to mention the fact that the author stole the methodology for unlocking, activating, and jailbreaking from others and takes credit for it himself.

When would the downgraded bootloader prove to be a problem? Apple sold many 3.9 bootloader phones legitimately and thus has an obligation to support that boot loader.

As for the plagerism, IIRC Geohot is credited on Zibris page and he sems to have patched up his differences with him. Any bad blood between them is their business, not mine.

Use Ziphone.

appreciate the feedback.. if anyone else has a better recommendation i'd gladly go with it... will be doing it in the next few days.. thanks
