Hi there
What is the easiest way to unlock an iPhone 16gig running 1.1.4

I have looked into iJailbreak as it does not require you to down grade but there must be some other ones too right.

Also does this unlock it or just jailbreak it as I want to use it with either Rogers or Fido.

Thanks

I know some will tell you ziphone is dangerous, but that is what I have used on about 5 iphone with 0 problems. It is probably the easiest to follow. Really just download it and read what the interface says. Select "Do it All" to unlock and Jailbreak

So how do I want to have the iPhone locked, where do I start. Right now it is 1.1.4 and locked and not jailbroken.

Also, having a non 3g iphone in canada, what are some precautions I should take on iTunes and such, will I still get the updates and support.

Restore to factory settings through itunes. Then download and run ZiPhone.

Support - probably not

Updates - if you update in any country on any non-iphone plan, it could lock out your phone again. It is best to stay away from updates without checking to see if the jailbreak community has come up with a patch yet.

Also, if you do not have unlimited data on your plan, make sure edge is turned off! The iPhone is a data hog.
