I was just curious, if they have a easy gui jailbreak for the ipod touch why dont they have one for the iphone? Arent they the same firmware?

It should come soon...AriX made the GUI iTouch Jailbreak, and does not seem interested in one for the phone...someone else will :)

Kinda gets my goat that a Touch GUI jailbreak came out for Windows first.

1. If it weren't for the iPhone, there would be no Touch.
2. If it weren't for Apple/Macs/OSX, there would be no iPhone, Touch, or any form of jailbreak.

So iPhone jalbreak for Mac should have come first!

Aloha everyone,

There IS a new GUI-based jailbreak for 1.1.1 iPhones! Go to http://cashflowlogic.com/iPhoneJailBreak.html and you can download an app to, apparently seamlessly, iJailbreak your iPhone. Keep in mind that this is Intel Mac ONLY - according to the website, a Universal version can be introduced if demand is high enough.
