easy intel imac question

is it necessary to occasionally zap the p-ram on my intel imac like i do on my old G4?

i always thought it was a maintenance thing that you should do every few months or so, regardless of any problems or performance issues. guess not?

Resetting the PRAM is usually done as a troubleshooting procedure.
