Easy-to-read / stylish / modern handwriting fonts

The Mac stock handwriting fonts seem hard to read and old.

Please recommend some nice ones for me. Preferably free or please tell me where I can download them.

is where I tend to head first for fonts, many of which have little restrictions on them.
