I am using A Small Orange, and use iWeb '08 to make the pages. I have asked at ASO but not received an answer. Any way to put a simple password on a site to protect it?

Do they use Apache for hosting? You could try a .htaccess/.htpasswd combination but it depends if they allow it or not.

If you google for it there are a few guides out there for htpasswd. If you don't have shell access to the server you can make the files on your Mac and copy them over, make sure you get the paths correct.
