Hello,

I have a huge library on my main mac and I'd like to transfer a part of it on my MacBook Pro (both are running El Capitan and latest version of Photos). Is there a way to do that and keep the keywords?

Thanks

Hmm, I was curious so I played around. I added a few keywords to a photo in Photos.

When I drag 'n dropped this photo to the Desktop, right-click > Display Info showed the Keywords were included in the picture.

When I used File > Export in Photos, a screen popped up asking if I wanted to included Title, Keywords and Descriptions, as well as Location Information.

Looks like you might have two ways of doing it. :)

Hello,

Wow! That works! Didn't even try to do the simple method. Never thought we could bundle metadata in a jpg file.

Such simplicity brings back memories of Apple from the 90's...

Thanks!
