Thought I would create a separate thread for people to use to watch out for particular sellers so you don't get screwed out of a product or don't want to waste your time with the hassle.

Ebay Seller: e_coming - Ordered a stainless steel link they claimed had the magnetic removable links but they sent me one that you needed a pin to remove. They claimed this is all they had and were trying to only give me part of my money back when they were selling the same band cheaper through another listing.

I had a problem with this seller, too. I ordered two 38mm double tour bands a couple of days apart. After a 4 week wait, the first one arrived damaged. I sent pictures and asked for a refund. Ebay stepped in and I did receive a refund (e_coming never responded to my request). Yesterday the second one arrived. I ordered a dark gray band with beige/white stitching ...I received a black band with black stitching (which wasn't even in their listing). Needless to say, I have requested a refund...again. Stay tuned!

I have had to deal with this seller as well (e_coming). I bought a black Milanese loop from them and they sent me damaged one. We went back and forth on the emails and he wanted to just do a partial refund which i did not want because I won't be able to use it. Then he wanted me to send it back but won't give me a pre paid label. I had eBay help me out and escalated the claim and eventually got a full refund. Do not buy form this seller

no I did not send it back. I was waiting on a return label but it hasn't come so I still have it. I guess ebay told him to give me a full refund. just hound him and tell him to send you the right band and include a return label so you can send him the wrong one he sent you.

Great thread/idea.

I ordered a "RED 42mm" strap from Shenzhen MOOGE Technology Co Ltd.

I emphasise the "Red" because that's what the advert said, but what arrived was much more of a salmon or coral colour.

He even argued that it was "Watermelon" red...

He's since changed the advert too BTW.

Here's the "Red" strap that I received:

You're so wrong.

It's watermelon read (apparently!).

Funny I got the SAME band from them...same color. Difference is that they gave me a 38mm part of the band that tucks in the rest is 42mm....LOL

Actually thats nice, shame its not what you ordered.

I too bought a RED band and it does look _slightly_ orange. But hey ho.

I also bought a Dark Blue & got a light blue. Complained & got 20% off which I accepted.

With respect to the Chinese they do seem slightly colour blind with:

Reds = coral/salmon/orange

Blue = Dark blue and light blue confusion.

At these sub £5.00 prices I'm not loosing sleep, life goes on.

ps
If you are in the UK a lot of these chinese suppliers have UK contacts on ebay that seem to dispatch from Manchester/ Sheffield. (just check where item is being dispatched from).

I much prefer sent from within UK for speedy delivery / returns & no language problems.
