Think it's a straight-forward question but the answer might be less so.
I've just put a bid on a replacement hard-drive for my 4G iPod which is being sold as new. If my bidding is successful and I receive the item, is there any way I can tell the item is new rather than refurbished?
BTW: The sale photos show the item in a static bag but it's hard to make out the details on the label.
Thanks
