So I recently sold my old Droid X on ebay and it sold for $144. They person that bought it has 100% feedback with 98 transactions. Now I have been on ebay for over 10 years but I just used it for buying not selling until recently. The other items I sold were paid for via paypal almost instantaneously, but this time is different. It has been 3 days since the auction ended and I sent an invoice about 12 hours after the auction ended. How long should I wait before contacting the seller about payment?

I usually contact immediatly via email with the invoice and with an email about requesting payment. If they don't respond withing say four to five days I contact again. No response I report them as a non payer and have ebay send a notice.

That is just me though, I don't have to wait around for my payment and shipment of items.

Right away if you have not all ready. Send a friendly email and ask the buyer what his intentions are regarding payment. It's not insulting, it's just inquiring. Some people, depending on how they pay can take a while, like if they have to put money into their paypal account.
