ECC RAM in new 3.2 GHz 21.5 inch iMac

While looking at the Memory section in the System Profiler application in my new 3.2 GHz 21.5 inch iMac, I noted that one of the two SO-DIMM memory cards was marked "ECC" (error correction codes) while the other card with the exact same part number had no such designation.

Strange, eh?
