Edge and Wifi problems

I have a new iphone 1.1.3 and I realised like a few days ago Edge totally drained my credit (being in Australia). So, researched it a bit on the net and installed Services.app, BUT somehow it failed to disable Edge so I installed BossPrefs.app and that worked.

However, now the problem is safari and installer.apps aint working because I disabled Edge. Wifi is weird - says im connected to to a network but the ip address, subnet mask, router, DNS etc... is all blank.

Any ideas? Thanks...

oooh mate seems like you've got a bit of a prob there... i'm also on prepaid.

uninstall services. make sure everything is switched on before uninstalling. enable everything in bossprefs, reboot, disable what you dont want.

you must have a wifi icon on the top bar - if it's grey/blue it means that it's using gprs.

make sure its on dhcp if it is and isnt there reset your network by clicking settings/general/reset then network 1 if doesnt work try to put in urself use ur comp to find the ip adress dont use the same ip like if ur comp is .1.102 use .1.105 or something subnet is 255.255.255.0
