When using Edge (3G is not available in my area) the Internet will often not connect even though I have 5 bars. If I do a reset the Internet will work again in the same spot. Eventually it will stop working until I do another reset. This seemed to have started after the 2.0.2 update.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do you think it is a software or hardware problem?

Thanks

I'm afraid these types of issues are going to be around until the 2.1 update comes out. Hopefully that is soon...

On my iPhone 3G, I have found that using GPS seems to make things a bit wonky, until I reset. I have also noticed that force quiting the iPod App will sometimes fix the typing S...L...O...W...D...O...W...N in SMS and other apps - just select iPod and then hold the bottom button in until the app quits and returns you to the main icon screen.

You might be on to something with the GPS, it does seem to occur after using it. The GPS is worthless it rarely locates me and it lags severely when tracking.
