i have checked my phone and it says on it Edge network data

sent 212kb
received 535 kb

the odd thing being i cant recall browsing the web hardly at all ,does the phone browse in the background,it might also explain why my battery goes dwon quickly

If you have Mail check your accounts at any time interval, it will use EDGE to do so, which may explain why you are having some data usage shown. I believe visual voicemail also uses EDGE, so retrieving voice mail will also use data and be shown.
