edge network problem

I can only pick up edge service in my area but it has worked surprisingly fast until now. For some reason yesterday my phone says it has edge network connection but will not load anything. no websites, no mail, no apps that require network connection. Anything I can try to fix this?

Have you tried doing a hard reboot on your phone? Hold the home and lock button until the phone turns off.

Since you say it has worked fine for awhile, I doubt it is anything wrong with your phone. You might want to call your provider to see if there's been any issues in your area.
