Edge not working on yellowsn0wed phone

hi guys
i have yellowsn0wed my iphone 3g.
but the edge doesnot work, even though i get the "E" logo.

i am vodafone india, and they are the official carriers for iphone here. but my iphone was not from them, i bought it from the market as locked and then jailbroke it via pwnage and then yellowsnow for unlocking. i have no issues with calls, sms or wifi.

please help

Are you able to go into settings>general>network>cellular data and see your APN settings? If so try putting in www for your APN and leave all else blank. If not go into cydia>sections>tweaks and download APN editing and then try the first step.

Also you need to make sure you have at least 400 rupee credit on your balance and then text ACT IPHONE to 144. If the APN www didn't work use iphone instead. My phone is working well on vodadone and am typing on it now using edge connection from the mall. Hope this helped you.
