Apple made the change to a contoured edge design on the iPhone 15 to improve the feel of the phone in hand. On appearances alone I think that the design of the iPhone 14 looks nicer.

Curious to see if anyone else feels this way?

Just as @dz5b609 said, looks wise I prefer the 14 series, but actual day to day life the 15 by a long shot, quite amazing what little change can due especially in regards to comfort

I know it's crazy, but just a few weeks after the 15 announcement, I already find the 14 to be looking old fashioned.
Comfort-wise, I also prefer the 15P.

Thanks all - a clear Macrumours consensus in favour of the 15 design. My own thoughts aside, looks like Apple’s onto a winner with the new approach.

Obviously those that bought a 15 will vote 15 lol

Would be no diff in a case?

Mmmm and anyone who likes the new design regardless of which model they own.

On the case - the question is about the phone’s design, not the design of a case

I've been playing with my 16 Pro and 13 Pro side by side. I do think the 13 Pro has an edge in design, it feels more special and is thinner.

I enjoy the 16 Pro as well, but there's some subjectivity here.

Having owned the 12, 13 Pro and 14 Pro Max, the sharp edges were something I never really liked and always thought that there has to be something in between the sharp edges of the 12/13/14 and the super compfy but IMO ugly round edges of the X/11.

So holding a 15 was like a big: oh yeah! That’s it. I just love the contoured edges.
