Hello, I recently updated my OS on the iPhone 4 and noticed today that the edit button for my contacts and calendars has gone missing. This is obviously frustrating. Has anyone else encountered this, and how do I get these crucial buttons back? I do not know if this corresponds to the iPhone update as I did that on Friday and just noticed this today, but I cannot think of what else may have caused it.

This happened to me also...but only for my contacts. I was able to fix it by setting my exchange email account to sync my contacts. Once I did that, I could add and edit my contacts. I have since turned off the exchange sync, but everything still works like it is supposed to.
I can't promise that it will work for you, but it's worth a try.
