Edit Certain Part Of Photo

I have got this photo but i want to lighten up the sky a bit for my school art project. However im not the best at editing photos. Does anyone know what i should do or change to make the sky lighter??.

Ermm not much to be honest. I will download any free stuff tho.

• Hp Photosmart Edit

Take a look at Gimp

Run through the tutorials and you should find that you'll be able to select parts of a photo and make adjustments. I've not had personal experience of it, but it should get you a long way toward where you want to be...

You could get Pixelmator (or just the demo). It's like Photoshop. Or there's always The Gimp.
