Edit Photos in the Photos APP of the iPad ?

Hi Guys,

I have this question the edit option in the photos that you get in photos in the iPad and let's say if I were to edit, enhance a photo using that does it create another copy of the edited, enhanced photo or does it make changes the same photo? Sounds very simple question surprisingly it did not strike me so far nevertheless it's better to be late than never !

If I'm not mistaken, it changes the original, but offers the option to revert at any time. You can also select the original and make a copy yourself before editing.
